The work in the Berg lab focuses on investigating the role of epigenetics in AML and studying effects of epigenetic treatments on metabolism and immunological recognition of AML cells, in particular, in the context of allogeneic stem cell transplantation. We are very interested in MRD-guided and personalized treatment approaches using these strategies. We are using single-cell profiling, as well as real-time cell metabolic analyses to understand these phenomena. In our presentation, we will provide an overview of some of the research ongoing in our lab in this area.
