The Department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences is composed of world-renowned scientists that have multidisciplinary expertise in areas that span fundamental biochemistry and cutting edge biomedical science. As such, our active research fields include microbiology, immunology and drug discovery, metabolism and cell biology and stem cells and cancer biology
